This song notes that the most important result of modern politics is “all the hilarity on Saturday Night Live”. I am not sure that I am that pessimistic about our political system. But, I will say that Colbert, John Stewart, SNL, and the Top Ten Lists can be more enlightening and compelling than most political debates. (And, that list comes from someone who does not own a TV). – KW
