More about why we chose this song for today:

The Duke and Duchess of Peace live on Long Island. Currently, there is a lot of talk about preparations for Hurricane Irene, which is due to arrive here on Saturday or Sunday. A lot of our friends have taken to gathering supplies, shopping, and maybe even, kind of, hoarding.

We thought a song about sharing was in order, to keep people focused on kindness and sharing as they shop and prepare.

“Love is something if you give it away…” is the opening of this song. We hope during this hurricane preparation time, you will: remain calm; help your family, friends and neighbors in need; realize the power of sharing; and remember a few good songs to sing, in case you need to keep yourself and others entertained inside.
